Amanita Deva Mud Muncher 2 of 2
This little Amanita Deva loves to make mud pies and gobble them up! Topped with a mossy frosting, the taste can't be beat. Well, at least, that's what they say...
Did you ever make mud pies when you were a child? If not, what other imaginary treats did you concoct?
This mud munching cutie wants to remind you to play! Get your hands in the dirt, build a fort or find a secret hideaway.
The Amanita have a beautiful symbiotic relationship with certain trees, usually pine, spruce, cedar, fir or birch. The mushroom and tree exchange nutrients with each other, via the root system.
*Polymer clay and needle felted mud chunk
*About 2 inches tall
Each figurine goes through many stages of progress from start to finish.
Typically, they begin as a drawing. Then they make their way through armature building, blending and mixing clay (and adding glitter and magic), sculpting, painting, varnishing and sometimes mounting.
I enjoy putting all the love and intention into my work. Each piece is unique and has distinct features of being made one at a time, by my human hands
